NOTICE: On November 29, 2005, Eucon International College was granted candidate status for accreditation through the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), a body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Candidacy confers upon Eucon International College the privileges of accreditation. This status indicates that Eucon has achieved initial recognition and is progressing toward full accreditation. By unanimous vote, the TRACS Commission of Accreditation concurred that Eucon "has provided evidence of sound planning and the resources to implement its plans and appears to have the potential for attaining its goals within a reasonable time."      

"Excellent Light" 

The word "Eucon" is a transliteration of the Chinese you guang meaning Excellent Light. Eucon International College and School has adopted this name to affirm its commitment to Jesus Christ, "the true Light" (John 1:9).

EIC and EIS have been providentially placed by God on the island of Saipan, the closest United States territory to mainland China and accessible to the Philippines, Korea, Japan, and the Pacific Rim. Saipan and the Northern Marianas, which are a U.S. commonwealth, welcome international students under their own immigration laws and have authorized Eucon to issue student visas.

Eucon International College offers English-language instruction toward bachelors degrees in Bible, Biblical Counseling, Pastoral Studies, Education and Commercial Art, plus certificates in Chinese Missions and in ESL for registered nurses. Room, board and tuition are less than US $9,000 and work scholarships are available.

Eucon International School provides English-language instruction in a nurturing Christian environment for grades K thru 12. Student life is highlighted by such activities as the annual Eucon Carnival, Spirit Week, Culture Week, Talent Week, Christmas Program, and Spring Program. Students may participate in forensics, academic bee, math team, yearbook, martial arts, and men's high school basketball with the Eucon Blazers.
