BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (B.S.) IN EDUCATION

Purpose and Objectives

The Bachelor of Science degree in Education is designed to prepare students to serve as classroom teachers in a Christian school ministry. Students enter teaching ministry with a traditional Christian teaching philosophy in content and methods. The program provides practical experienc essetnail for teaching in the Christian school. Students will experience classroom instruction time during their teaching internship at Eucon International School.

Upon completion of the program the student will be able to: recognize humanistic philosophies and methods used in "progressive" education; demonstrate an understanding of traditional Christian teaching philosophy; and apply practical skills needed for teaching effectively in a Christian school.
