Work scholarship programs are based on financial need as well as other factors determined by the College. Priority is given to students with the most financial need. Required work hours are calculated according to how much assistance the student is receiving. Hourly wages are based on the local minimum wage, though Eucon work scholarhips are not paid in cash. All earned wages are credited to the student's account. Scholarship students work part-time hours during the fall and spring semesters, and full-time hours during the semester and summer breaks. Work scholarship students may also receive discounts on their room and board and tuition. The Timothy Scholarship program is provided for Christian missionary workers and their children. This work scholarship program is for full-time students only with a class load of at least 12 hours. The Timothy Scholarship is available for first-time freshman students The Eucon Scholarship program for financial assistance ranges from partial to full scholarships. This work scholarship program is for full-time students only with a class load of at least 12 hours. The Eucon Work Scholarship program is only available to second-year students. To qualify for this scholarship program students must demonstrate high moral and mature Christian character, show financial need, and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on the 4-point scale. Financial Assistance Loans to qualifying students may be provided by the College on an individual basis. These loans are repaid through various work-study programs.
