OverviewPurpose and ObjectivesThe Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible is designed to train students to know the Word of God. The program aims to provide a solid foundation for the teaching of spiritual truth that will lead not only to a proper understanding of God's Word but also to a proper application. After their training students may pursue full-time Christian service in local churches, missions, schools, colleges, and Christian organizations. Upon completion of the program the student will be able to: exhibit knowledge of the doctrine and content of the scriptures; demonstrate skills in disciple-making and evangelism; and apply experience gained from expsoure to various types of ministries.
Note: All Bible and Pastoral Studies majors will be required to pass an oral Bible and Theology exam covering the following areas: Old Testament, New Testament, Church History, and Bible Doctrines. The format of the exam will be that of an ordination council. For more information about the exam, contact the Academic Dean.
